Dave Eiland to Tampa Bay?

This being tweeted NY Post's Joel Sherman, Dave Eiland may have found a new home with the Tampa Bay Rays, not as pitch coach, but as an executive.

I don't think anyone saw this coming. Perhaps Eiland was willing to reunite with his former team in whatever capacity available. It's been said that he has maintained relationships with several in the Rays organization, so perhaps this will be a good way that he can escape the spotlight of a pitch coach yet still remain active in baseball.
